Qlik focuses on multicloud and augmented intelligence with analysis platform

Qlik wants to focus more on SaaS, multicloud and augmented intelligence. The company does this with various innovations that it announced in the field of Saas-based analysis platforms. This enables the organization to offer Sense Enterprise fully on its Cloud Services.

The now announced innovations are built around the Associative Difference in a cloud-based architecture based on Kubernetes. This should allow Qlik’s analysis platform to be directly linked to a cloud-first strategy of business customers. It also increases the possibilities for employability and flexibility, according to the company itself. Users need a seamless user experience.

Multicloud

In the April and June releases, Qlik Sense Enterprise will also receive innovations in the field of multicold and augmented reality. Qlik’s third generation BI is central to this. This generation revolves around the democratisation of data and the use of augmented intelligence and analysis throughout the organisation.

The latest release of Sense Enterprise allows users to fully deploy the solution to the vendor’s Cloud Services SaaS environment. It is also possible to roll out Sense Enterprise on Kubernetes, on the public or private cloud as preferred. The deployment options also work together as part of Qlik’s multicold framework, which can be managed as a whole.

Sense Enterprise will also receive full certification on Google Cloud Platform, Amazon and Azure. This includes support for Red Hat OpenShift. There is also a possibility to roll out and manage multisite and multicloud as a whole and there is a subscription license model for both on premise and the cloud.

Associative Insights

Associative Insights was recently launched and is a new integrated element of the analysis platform. This solution is in line with the existing possibilities for augmented intelligence and machine learning. The solution strengthens the data skills of users, because their own skills are supplemented by Qlik when data is explored.

The Associative Engine searches for data that falls outside the user’s selection. The individual values are analysed by the Cognitive Engine, after which insights are presented that the user might not otherwise have seen. The Cognitive Engine also learns from user interactions, feedback and other sources. That’s how he gets smarter and smarter.

Qlik Sense

Finally, there is Qlik Sense that should enable companies to convert their entire dataset to enable consistent, data-driven decision making. Sense’s June release includes improvements in augmented intelligence, such as improved natural-speech-based search support for the Insight Advisor.

It also extends the user reach for precedent-based insights that can be imported directly into Cloud Services. There are also direct connections in the cloud to additional applications such as Salesforce and SAP, users can access QlikView applications from the cloud, and a suite of Sense SaaS products for groups and teams.

Sense Mobile is also available for BlackBerry, as well as a container version of Sense Mobile for Blackberry Dynamics EMM. The mobile Iron EMM platform is supported by Qlik, as well as push notifications for Android and iOS applications.
