Dynabook, the former Toshiba, adds a number of mid-range laptops to his portfolio. These are the A-series laptops, in which 13, 14 and 15-inch versions will become available.

First of all, a new Portege X30 has been announced which has a 13-inch screen with smaller edges, a 6-core Intel processor and a weight of about a kilo. The Portege X30L is configurable up to 24GB of memory and TB storage. Like the previous version, the laptop has a large number of ports, including Ethernet, HDMI, USB-C, a headset connection and a microSD slot.

Furthermore, the launch of the A Series laptops consisted of three mid-range business models, with 13-, 14- and 15-inch versions. All three versions have 10th generation Intel Core processors, single-cable USB-C and a Thunderbolt 3-dock. In addition, +CARE standard warranty comes with four support service options.

The Tecra A50 is a 15-inch laptop with an optical drive designed for businesses. The price is around $899 (approximately $806). The Tecra A30 is a simpler version of the Portege X30, and the Tecra A40 is the 14-inch version. Dynabook further introduces the Portege X30L, where the “L” stands for Light. An Ethernet port has also been added with travellers in mind, who would otherwise be doomed to use bad or faltering wi-fi. The Portege X30L will be launched in February, the other models will be in production at the end of January.

Kelcey Kinjo, product manager for Dynabook Americas, states that the company aims to become a “pure B2B player,” focusing on customers looking for “more of a quality build.” According to ZDNet, Dynabook’s customer base consists of approximately 85% business customers and 15% education customers.
