Conclusion

Even though we feel the iPhone 11 Pro should have been a revolutionary smartphone to honour its Pro moniker, for instance by adding Apple Pencil support or a ProMotion display, we can’t deny that it’s a great evolutionary step forward after the 2018 iPhone XS. The addition of an ultrawide angle camera makes it an easy sell to general consumers, but the most exciting improvement can be found under-the-hood: the A13 Bionic with Neural Engine is a huge improvement, allowing for amazing photography with Night Mode and Deep Fusion, and driving energy consumption down without impacting the performance level. If you’re currently still on the iPhone XS, there’s not much reason to upgrade, unless photography is the be-all-end-all of your smartphone. For those still stuck on the iPhone X, an upgrade is a much more attractive option, given the added functionality and processing power of the current model.
