Citrix Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) is now available on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. The solution allows companies to deploy virtual Windows and Linux desktop environments from Azure.

Citrix DaaS provides a quick way to make apps and desktops available on any device and location. Users gain access to virtual Windows and Linux desktops. Desktops can now be hosted on Azure. The new service is provided through the Azure Marketplace.

Key features include high-definition HDX technology for optimized voice and video performance for Microsoft Teams, Skype and other multimedia applications. Users gain a personal desktop environment which can be managed through a single interface. Management tools streamline app development and operations. Desktops can be located in Azure or on-premises data centres.

The solution also gives administrators access to Citrix analytics for performance and security. Provisioning services allow organizations to deploy diverse desktops and applications in real-time from a single, shared image.

Tip: Microsoft will integrate Windows 11 and Windows 365
