Storage specialist Pure Storage and ERP giant SAP have further expanded their cooperation in the technical field. As a fresh Platinum partner, the storage specialist has now been able to certify its FlashArray applications for the SAP S/4HANA platform.
With the certification within the SAP PartnerEdge program and the resulting deeper technical cooperation, Pure Storage is now able to help customers better run their most important SAP workloads. Especially when it comes to deploying the FlashArray applications in combination with SAP’s well-known cloud platform SAP S/4HANA. Pure Storage deploys its Pure FlashArray//X R3 applications for this purpose.
Concrete collaboration
According to both parties, the cooperation will be concretised by joint technical support, setting up joint ‘competency’ centres and broader technological integration.
In the latter area, this mainly concerns areas such as AI for business applications, the further development of the SAP S/4HANA platform, cloud computing in general, storage and virtualisation solutions.
Greater success for customers
All this cooperation should be embedded in an overarching framework that allows for further integration between the solutions and applications of both parties. Of course, the now strengthened cooperation between the storage and the ERP specialist should lead to customers ultimately achieving better results, making more profit and being able to innovate faster.
