Mendix is to further expand its partner ecosystem through a major Independent Software Vendor (ISV) program. This is to exchange reusable building blocks and software components.
The expansion focuses on closer relationships with independent software companies and developers. The idea is that the new tech partners can more easily make their building blocks and software components available to and on the low-code platform.
These software components are central because the low-code vendor recognizes that the so-called “composable enterprise” is coming on strong. Customers are deploying reusable software components more often to build solutions quickly and efficiently.
Tooling and access to Mendix Marketplace
Through its new partner program, Mendix offers ISVs the necessary tooling, intellectual property protection and marketplaces to develop and market new software for the Mendix platform. In the latter case, consider the Mendix Marketplace and the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace of parent company Siemens.
The software made available can be customized for specific customers at any time, but retain the benefits of fast and hassle-free upgrades, Mendix says.
In turn, ISV partners can also download other software components from the Mendix Marketplace free of charge. This allows them to accelerate and streamline their software development.
