InfluxData, the developer of InfluxDB, announced numerous product updates and enhancements during its annual developer and community event, InfluxDays 2022.

The new features include Flux 1.0, Telegraph Custom Builder and InfluxDB Script Editor. The updates aim to support developers working on time series data with enhanced capabilities to perform more tasks without excessive coding.

“At InfluxData, we strive to deliver as many options as possible to make the experience of building applications with time series data fast and effective for every use case”, said Rick Spenser, vice president of InfluxData. “These new capabilities support developers at every stage of building, helping them develop applications better and faster”

In addition to the new features, the organization shed light on ‘Time to Awesome’, a digital book that introduces developers to InfluxDB. “Time to Awesome is critical for developers — the sooner we help the developer get underway with InfluxDB, the sooner they can move onto larger problem solving within their project”, Spenser added.

Product enhancements

The Script Editor focuses on enhancing the overall query experience of the InfluxDB Cloud through an in-built interface and workflows. This helps developers access insights from their data faster. Flux 1.0 will improve sharing, flexibility and collaboration within the open-source data scripting language, aka Flux. Telegraph Custom Builder helps developers minimize their Telegraph footprint, which is InfluxData’s open-source data collection agent.

These updates and product enhancements will be featured in various sessions at InfluxDays 2022. Developers and users can instantly access the Telegraph Custom Builder and InfluxDB Script Editor updates. Support for Flux 1.0 will be available in the coming quarter. The company added that users interested in learning more about the product enhancements can visit the website.
