Ivanti Software program Inc. has expanded its Ivanti Neurons platform to facilitate automation and optimization in firms’ supply chain operations. The objective of this expansion is to implement efficiency in work processes.

Ivanti Wavelink, the supply chain business unit of Ivanti Software Inc., enhanced their Ivanti Neurons platform to assist firms in automating their supply chain operations. The new Ivanti Neurons are designed for the Internet of Things platform, allowing businesses to create and integrate scalable applications into their current work processes seamlessly. According to the firm, the new technology can increase operational efficiency in the supply chain sector.

What is the Ivanti Neurons platform?

Ivanti Neurons is a security-centered platform that came into being in 2020. The establishment paved the way for the automation of endpoint management, including employee devices. It operates by mapping and scanning all the instruments available on a corporate network for prospective issues. If any vulnerabilities, performance, or compliance issues are identified, the platform automatically resolves them.

Ivanti Wavelink is implementing its previous supply chain concept built around the concept of using different smart devices. The upgraded system will use intelligent conveyors, sensors, cameras, and other intelligent devices. However, the new technology of Ivanti Neurons will be built of IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), which will empower businesses to form low-code or no-code applications. These applications can be hyperlinked to the smart devices with the current systems. With this initiative, businesses will automate and optimize their supply chain operations.

Ivanti Neurons for IIoT

The Ivanti Neurons for IIoT enables businesses to resolve a rich profusion of problems with digitalization, including the likes of labor shortages, inadequate distribution management procedures, and low visibility affecting supply chains.

Ivanti Neurons for IIoT can be amalgamated with Ivanti Velocity via the MQTT protocol for IoT devices to implement current task-worker processes. Organizations can cut costs in warehouse management system changes by taking this initiative. Additionally, organizations can also use the platform to gain insight into supply chain processes.

Ivanti Wavelink’s senior vice president has also expressed interest in expanding the IIoT supply chain to increase productivity in organizations. This will enable businesses to install geolocation beacons on trailers and shipping containers and improve efficiency in all operations. The platform aims to branch out to the transportation, logistics, manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, and retail sectors.
