Oracle NetSuite introduces the missing puzzle piece for its platform

An AI-based low-code integration platform

Oracle NetSuite introduces the missing puzzle piece for its platform

Oracle NetSuite introduces the NetSuite Integration Platform, a low-code solution for automating complex business processes. The platform also uses AI and pre-built AI integrations to easily connect NetSuite to external systems for CRM, e-commerce, HR, and supply chain.

The NetSuite Integration Platform is built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and likely uses Oracle Integration Cloud. The NetSuite Integration Platform enables you to connect and monitor all data sources with NetSuite. As more business processes use AI, context and data have become increasingly important. With this expansion, NetSuite has chosen to bring more data into the platform to offer better reporting and insights across the entire company. The solution is now available in North America, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, including Ireland.

The platform basically consists of a low-code editor that NetSuite uses to connect business applications without technical complexity. Instead of developers having to build all integrations from scratch, business analysts and managers responsible for business processes can build these integrations themselves. They can use the low-code editor, but also receive support from AI. Using natural language, someone can specify which application or API they want to connect to the platform, and the AI will conduct research and set up a basic workflow that only needs to be configured and validated.

“By using AI to bring together mission-critical business data, we are helping our customers reduce technical complexity, move faster, and gain more value from the comprehensive AI capabilities embedded in NetSuite,” said Evan Goldberg, founder and executive vice president of Oracle NetSuite.

High-level integration

In addition to connecting APIs to the NetSuite Integration Platform, NetSuite goes a few steps further. AI assistance is available for building, but AI also supports mapping API fields to NetSuite. This eliminates the need for users to memorize complex database schemas. Furthermore, error detection is automatically built in, enabling problems to be quickly identified and reported for resolution.

Observability plays a major role here, enabling audit trails and policy-driven workflows. This also allows organizations that must manage many compliance requirements to set boundaries and limits on what the platform can and cannot do. This goes beyond integrations; MCP server security and AI agents can be regulated in this way as well.

Unified API management provides developers and administrators with a single control plane for securing and monitoring all APIs.

The new platform helps finance, operations, and IT leaders quickly connect NetSuite to other systems without relying on specialists. NetSuite has previously focused on improving third-party integrations to play a more central role within organizations.

NetSuite Integration Platform was the missing piece of the puzzle

With the addition of the NetSuite Integration Platform (iPaaS), NetSuite has filled the missing piece of the puzzle. We are seeing the same development with many other platform providers. Salesforce acquired MuleSoft years ago and recently Informatica, while Workday has announced its acquisition of PipeDream. ServiceNow has had its Integration Hub for years. In fact, no major SaaS platform can do without a good iPaaS solution anymore.

NetSuite couldn’t afford to lag behind and immediately opted for a low-code AI-based iPaaS platform, which we believe is a good move. This lowers the threshold even further, despite it being low-code. Now we just have to wait and see when the product will also become available in Europe.
