Splunk makes its big data analytics platform Data-to-Everything available as a SaaS service (Splunk Cloud) within Google Cloud. In this way, customers can deploy big data analytics in a scalable way and benefit from the advantages of the relevant public cloud environment.
According to the big data specialist, companies with Splunk Cloud will soon be able to gain better insights into the data of their IT operations, security DevOps and business processes. As a result, they will be able to take action and make decisions faster.
Data-to-Everything platform in public cloud
Mainly, Splunk Cloud is a SaaS version of Splunk’s existing Data-to-Everything platform. It allows companies to search, correlate, analyse, monitor and report on data.
The integration of this platform with Google Cloud ensures, says Splunk, that customers can now make data-driven decisions without having to purchase, manage and deploy an additional IT infrastructure. Splunk Cloud on Google Cloud gives companies a single overview to securely research, monitor, analyse and act on all of their data, both parties said.
Google Cloud options
In addition to the Splunk platform, customers can also use various Google Cloud features. These include technologies such as AI, machine learning, security, networking and data analytics.
Furthermore, integrations with Google Anthos, Google Cloud Security Command Center and Stackdriver ensure that various applications can share the most essential Splunk data. This should enable companies to gain insights from multiple cloud platforms.
Availability
Splunk does not only make its Data-to-Everything platform available on Google Cloud. There is already a version for AWS available. Splunk Cloud for Google Cloud is now available in a beta version. A general release is expected later this year.
