Thinkwise recently updated its platform to version 2022.v1. The new functionality was designed to aid developers in optimizing, updating and deploying core applications in an automated manner.
Thinkwise develops a low-code development platform for core applications. The release of 2022.v1 should make it easier for developers to automate the migration, modernization and deployment of core applications residing on legacy systems.
Thinkwise Upcycler
A number of new options were added for this purpose. The newly integrated Thinkwise Upcycler tool enables the DNA of legacy systems to automatically be retrieved, read and transformed to the Thinkwise model. Until now, the latter was only possible manually. A new user interface allows all steps of the transformation process to be performed and adjusted in detail. The tool features standard technology such as SQL Server, DB2 (or RPG), Progress, PostgreSQL and Uniface.
Marketplace for components
Additionally, the new release introduces the Thinkstore. The online marketplace presents various semi-finished products, such as reusable components from previous integrations and transformations that can be used instantly. These include models, integrations, sample applications, CRM modules and links to zip code systems.
Thinkwise 2022.v1 is available immediately.
