NetSuite Next brings the agentic ERP to the UAE

NetSuite Next brings the agentic ERP to the UAE

Oracle NetSuite has revealed NetSuite Next is arriving in the UAE. The move brings all of Next’s AI-based features to the existing NetSuite ERP platform. The extended level of automation is already aiding global expansion for customers.

NetSuite Next rejiggers the way business interact with ERP systems. Rather than relying solely on traditional interfaces, the platform now centers around natural language interaction, delivering automated summaries based on a unified data model. “NetSuite Next is designed to transform how AI works for business,” says Nicky Tozer, senior vice president for EMEA at Oracle NetSuite.

The core of the experience is Ask Oracle, a natural language assistant enabling users to search, analyze and act across their entire NetSuite dataset using conversational queries. It delivers context-aware answers while respecting existing user permissions and policies. Notably, Ask Oracle extends to customizations built on the SuiteCloud Platform, including partner applications from the SuiteCloud Developer Network.

Switch with a button press

Customers can activate NetSuite Next without migration or disruption to existing customizations. The platform combines a unified data model with explainable, auditable AI and the Redwood Design System introduced in recent years. This foundation is meant to allow NetSuite Next to identify opportunities and risks early for businesses, understand individual user contexts and handle both simple and complex tasks. At the same time, control is intended to remain strongly in the hands of customers themselves.

Key features include AI Canvas, a collaborative workspace where teams can analyze problems and trigger agentic workflows from a visual interface. Narrative summaries automatically surface correlations and trends across NetSuite’s data model. Agentic workflows automate complex tasks like payment proposals, vendor selection and supply chain operations, with users choosing whether to approve decisions or allow autonomous action.

Document integration leverages LLMs to extract information from invoices, contracts, receipts and other sources. This reduces manual work by enabling NetSuite to interpret and act on isolated documents, turning them into actionable workflows.

Additional platform innovations

Alongside NetSuite Next, Oracle today introduced several platform updates for UAE customers. These should sound familiar to anyone recalling NetSuite’s SuiteWorld announcements from late last year. The NetSuite AI Connector Service enables organizations to select AI models that fit their needs, built on top of open standards including the near-ubiquitous Model Context Protocol. Such integrations provide secure connectivity between NetSuite and external AI platforms, rather than relying on basic MCP support.

NetSuite Exception Management does what it sounds like it would, as it automatically detects and manages exceptions across finance and operational data. Organizations gain actionable insights and can resolve issues ahead of period close. NetSuite E-Invoicing supports compliance with the UAE Federal Tax Authority’s mandated e-invoicing framework, with a pilot phase launching July 1, 2026 and wider mandate due January 1, 2027.

NetSuite Subscription Metrics targets software and subscription-based organizations, providing a comprehensive view of financial and operational performance. It brings together customer, subscription and revenue data with industry-standard SaaS metrics and AI-driven insights.

FiLLi Cafe scales with NetSuite

Dubai-based FiLLi Cafe demonstrates how NetSuite automation supports rapid growth. The tea brand has expanded from a single cafe back in 2004 to 114 locations across 13 countries, from the US and Canada to Australia and Sri Lanka.

In a tale undoubtedly familiar to other multinationals, FiLLi Cafe’s legacy systems struggled with multi-country operations from the outset. After evaluation, the company selected NetSuite’s ERP to establish a scalable foundation. “NetSuite has helped us centralize our financial processes, automate key workflows and gain real-time visibility into our operations,” said Ahmed Hasanain, head of information technology at FiLLi Cafe.

NetSuite Next will be available to UAE customers within the next 12 months in English. The AI Connector Service, Exception Management and Subscription Metrics are available now, while E-Invoicing is available with regular updates for evolving UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements.
