Visma saw substantial revenue growth in the first quarter of 2022. A large number of companies were acquired.

The Norwegian software company booked revenue of €579 million in the first quarter of this year. The number increased by 18 percent from the same period in 2021. Net profit rose from €19 million to €33 million. Around 1.2 million customers are now using Visma’s software solutions.

Many acquisitions

Visma regularly acquires other companies to expand its activities. In the first three months of this year, a total of 15 joined forces. The acquisitions alone are responsible for €35 million euro in quarterly revenue.

The quarterly figures show that the Netherlands is the most lucrative market for Visma. The revenue of the Dutch branch triumphs over its home market of Norway. Besides Norway and the Netherlands, Visma is active in the rest of the Benelux, Scandinavia, Central Europe, Eastern Europe and South America.

Possible IPO

According to Dutch media, the Norwegian software company is considering an IPO. Prior to 2006, the organization was listed on the Norwegian stock exchange. At the moment, Visma is in the hands of private investors. Its value is estimated at €16 billion.
