Microsoft recently issued a series of fixes after wrecking functionality in Windows 11 and Windows 10 through updates. The start menu of some Windows 11 users crashed while others were unable to print through USB on Windows 10.

Windows updates don’t always work as expected. The June 23 update for Windows 11 caused the start menu of Windows 11 v21H2 users to crash. Clicking the Start button or using a Windows key had no effect. Microsoft since released a fix.

Trouble in Windows 10

Less than a week after the Windows 11 update, Microsoft blundered once more. The Windows 10 update of 28 June caused issues for users that connect their printer and PC via USB.

Windows 10 20H2, 21H1, 21H2 and Windows Server 20H2 were affected. Some applications failed to reach the printer. Although the problem is unresolved, several workarounds are available.
