Atlassian makes it easier for new users of the collaboration platform Confluence to implement the platform in the workflow. Standard templates should make the use of Confluence easier, according to TechCrunch.
The new version of Confluence contains 75 standard templates that can be used in different types of business operations. The templates contain standard layouts for marketing purposes, but also for HR and design. For certain activities, Atlassian has put together collections of templates to optimize a complete workflow with Confluence. The new gallery of templates should make it easier to find the specific template that makes sense for certain companies.
Last year, Confluence got a big makeover. The new version followed an acquisition of Good Software by Atlassian. This company already made tools for Confluence. The platform then got a new editor with new commands, macro’s and emoji’s. Confluence has been around since 2004 and is now used by more than 600,000 customers worldwide for a variety of business processes.
