Rubrik announced a $5 million ransomware recovery warranty for Rubrik Enterprise Edition. The warranty covers expenses related to data recovery and restoration if Rubrik can’t recover protected data after a ransomware attack.
As Bipul Sinha, the CEO and co-founder of Rubrik said in a statement that the new Ransomware Recovery Warranty ensures customers have the company’s commitment that it cares deeply about protecting data as the owners do. He noted that ransomware attacks have risen, which highlights the importance of a recoverable copy of data.
The importance of recovery
Sinha said in his statement that recoverable copies are a top agenda for CIOs and CISOs, adding that Rubrik understands how important data security is to ensure the security of a business.
The offer will be available for Rubrik customers running Rubrik Enterprise Edition and working with a Rubrik Customer Experience Manager (CEM) to ensure the best data security practices are implemented.
Rubrik’s SaaS-based Enterprise Edition provides zero-trust data protection, sensitive data discovery, ransomware investigation, incident containment (data quarantine), and orchestrated app recovery.
An industry standard is set
