Cisco closed its fiscal year with revenue of $63.3 billion, up 12 percent from the previous year. Fourth-quarter revenue totaled $17.3 billion, an increase of 18 percent. Total product orders rose by 35 percent. For fiscal year 2027, Cisco expects at least $72.2 billion.
The company exceeded its own forecasts in the fourth quarter, which ended on July 25. Net income per share rose 52 percent to $0.97. That translates to actual net income of $3.9 billion.
Excluding hyperscalers, product orders grew by 25 percent. According to Cisco, there was double-digit growth in every region and every customer segment. Network products performed best, with a 40 percent increase in orders. This marks the eighth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth in that category.
AI infrastructure orders total $9.3 billion
In the fourth quarter, Cisco booked $4 billion in AI infrastructure orders. This brings the total for fiscal year 2026 to $9.3 billion. The resulting revenue amounted to approximately $4 billion; for fiscal year 2027, the company is targeting $7.5 billion.
These figures are growing rapidly. Less than a year ago, Cisco expected about $3 billion in revenue from AI infrastructure for 2026, following over $2 billion in AI-related orders that came almost entirely from hyperscalers. By comparison, in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, quarterly revenue stood at $14.7 billion, representing 8 percent growth.
“We delivered a very strong close to fiscal 2026, marking another record year for Cisco,” says CEO Chuck Robbins. According to him, the company is well-positioned to support customers “however or wherever they decide to deploy AI.”
For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, Cisco expects revenue of between $18.0 billion and $18.2 billion. For the full fiscal year, the company projects revenue of $72.2 billion to $73.4 billion and non-GAAP earnings per share of $5.05 to $5.11.
