When customers want to migrate software from other cloud environments or on-premises environments to AWS, they need to be able to do so securely. To make this possible, it is important that security solutions are also in place during the migration. Starting today, this is possible using SentinelOne’s Singularity Cloud Security. Importantly, the company is joining the AWS ISV Workload Migration Program.
The AWS ISV Workload Migration Program enables customers to migrate software to AWS in a smooth and thorough manner. It offers technical support for setting up a migration playbook in accordance with AWS best practices. In addition, customers receive Promotional Credits to cover the costs of migration. They also receive go-to-market support from AWS.
There are many reasons to undertake such a migration. However, organizations must ensure that they do so in a secure manner. Especially when migrating from a (legacy) on-premises environment to AWS, it is important to estimate what is needed to run the application and workload in a cloud environment. The problem, however, is that many organizations do not always have the in-house knowledge to assess this. They may not be able or willing to hire people for this purpose immediately. In other words, security questions are asked that they cannot always answer.
SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security
To prevent migrations from getting bogged down in a security quagmire, organizations may find it useful to use security solutions that are part of the AWS ISV Workload Migration Program. As of today, SentinelOne Singularity Cloud Security is also part of this program.
The idea behind joining the AWS program is to make the capabilities of SentinelOne’s CNAPP solution, Singularity Cloud Security, available to customers. This enables those customers to gain and maintain insight into whether everything is and remains secure from the beginning of the journey to the end. Of course, it also brings new customers to SentinelOne. The idea is that they will continue to use the company’s solution after the migration.
