KnowBe4 has announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire MediaPRO. The intention is to combine the product portfolios of the two companies.
The acquisition was announced in a press release. In it, KnowBe4 says that MediaPRO customers will get access to the additional benefits of KnowBe4’s platform for security awareness training and phishing simulations. KnowBe4 itself will be able to offer a greater number of privacy and compliance training modules through the acquisition.

Human aspect of cybersecurity
KnowBe4 is a company that focuses on the human aspect of cybersecurity. The company provides tools to train teams on compliance, security and privacy, such as a phishing test focused on social media or a tool that checks the quality of stored passwords. These services are used by several companies in the Fortune 1000. MediaPRO focuses on a similar market. That company offers security and privacy training courses.
Incidentally, this is not the first acquisition KnowBe4 has made. In 2019, the company acquired security software specialist CLTRe. How much KnowBe4 paid for the acquisition of MediaPRO is not known.
