Quantexa has raised $129 million (nearly 118 million euros) in new capital in a Series E round. The investment will be used to speed up its innovation roadmap, among other things.

Investors include Warburg Pincus, Dawn Capital, British Patient Capital, Evolution Equity Partners, HSBC, BNY Mellon, ABN AMRO and AlbionVC. The investment round now values the data and analytics platform provider at $1.8 billion. Eighteen months ago, Quantexa held another Series D investment round that raised $153 million.

Accelerating roadmap

The capital raised will be used primarily to accelerate the roadmap for the Decision Intelligence products and services it provides. For example, for technology such as low-code data fusion, graph analytics, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP) and AI.

The capital will also be used to open new offices, attract talent and increase collaboration with partners.

Decision Intelligence

Quantexa provides a data and analytics platform for Decision Intelligence. It enables companies to make better operational decisions based on big data and AI. The platform provides centralized insight into hidden risks and new opportunities, as well as internal and external data.

The data and analytics platform is mainly used in the financial sector.
