Dell is expanding Project Helix by adding generative AI solutions. The offerings come for the biggest part in partnership with Nvidia.
Dell is introducing three new solutions. All are focused on bringing generative AI to the workplace. Thus, another company is jumping on the bandwagon of the latest technology: AI.
The novelties complement Project Helix, which Dell announced earlier this year. Also in collaboration with Nvidia, the project aims to help companies implement and build secure generative AI, on-prem. The focus is primarily on making enterprise data useful.

Link your enterprise data
Dell Validated Design for Generative AI is the first solution co-developed with Nvidia. Companies gain access to tested and proven Dell infrastructure, services and software through the solution.
Companies can attach their own data predictions and decisions to the solution. The solution was already introduced when Project Helix was announced and is now becoming available.
Develop AI models locally
Dell Precision workstations, in turn, can be supplemented with GPU configurations from Nvidia. The hardware is intended for AI developers and data scientists, allowing them to develop GenAI models locally. Dell Precision workstations (7960 Tower, 7865 Tower, 5860 Tower) with NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPUs will be available worldwide starting in early August.
The workstations include AI software, Dell Optimizer, which smartly adjusts application performance, network connectivity and audio according to the need to save battery power.
Developing AI strategy
Finally, Dell Professional Services helps companies implement generative AI in the workplace. The service starts by working out a strategy, helps implement Dell AI products and ultimately looks at scaling opportunities for your company. The service launches immediately in specific countries and will later expand the area.
