AI developer Anthropic expects to achieve sales of nearly $850 million (€770 million) in 2024. Perhaps sales could even reach $1 billion.
So writes The Information based on sources. Three months ago, the AI developer reportedly told investors that about $100 million more in revenue would be generated annually. Therefore, Anthropic based its earlier revenue forecast for next year on a total of $500 million.
Other sources expect that annual sales could reach $1 billion next year. This would equate to an average revenue of $83 million per month.
New investment round
Anthropic, in which both Amazon and Google have taken large stakes, is also engaged in a new round of investment. The new round, led by Menlo Ventures, is expected to raise $750 million.
Google and Amazon have recently invested $2 billion and $4 billion, respectively, in Anthropic.
