IFS is now under the leadership of Mark Moffat. Effective immediately, the new CEO will take over from Darren Roos, who will continue as Chairman of the Board.

Moffat has served as chief customer officer at IFS since July 2022. Before his time at the ERP vendor, Moffat held several leadership positions within PwC. IFS says it has been working toward Moffat’s appointment as chief executive officer for six months. The company describes the transition as part of the Board’s succession process.

“It is a great honor for me to lead IFS as we embark on this next chapter of growth. The business has immensely strong foundations to build upon and we have been putting all the right ingredients in place to continue to deliver on our strategy,” Moffat responded. In particular, the new CEO intends to continue to focus on an “AI-based product, an engaged customer base, a motivated partner ecosystem, and of course our talented employee base.”

From Roos to Moffat

With the appointment of Moffat as CEO, Roos will continue as chairman of the Board of Directors. IFS’ revenue tripled under Roos’ leadership, and the ERP vendor committed to generating recurring revenue. “There is so much opportunity in the market and, together with the Board, I will work with Mark and his team to ensure we effectively capture it,” Roos said.

Darren Roos’ new position also means that Jonas Persson, who has recently been the Chairman of the Board of Directors, will be replaced.
