Google Workspace users are facing new prices for the productivity suite. Companies may face price increases in the coming days, depending on the account. If you must pay more, Google will inform you a month later. But what are the new prices?

For Google Workspace, businesses can choose from four subscriptions: Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus and Enterprise. Each subscription includes Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Chat, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Keep, Sites, Forms and AppSheet. Depending on the subscription used, the application functionalities and the amount of storage per user vary.

The standard subscriptions – Business Starter, Business Standard and Business Plus – will now be 20 per cent more expensive. For Enterprise, companies need to make a separate cost agreement through Google’s sales department, as this version is aimed at huge companies with additional functional requirements. Looking at the three subscriptions with standard pricing, the increase means the following:

Old price per user per monthNew price per user per month
Business Starter€5.75€6.90
Business Standard€11.50€13.80
Business Plus€17.25€20,70

There is also the possibility of paying one time per year. Then companies pay €69, €138 and €207, respectively, for Business Starter, Business Standard and Business Plus. These amounts are spread over 10 months with monthly payments. Ultimately, paying for Google Workspace all at once is more economical.

Google is implementing the price increase to “reflect the value of our products.”
