Oracle introduces Fusion Claw, a runtime that enables Fusion Agentic Applications to independently perform more complex and longer-running tasks. Frontier models handle the reasoning, while deterministic computations handle the execution.
Oracle continues to expand its agentic AI offering within Fusion Applications. Fusion Claw is an execution runtime that combines AI reasoning with deterministic enterprise computations. A frontier model plans, reasons, and adapts. Claw then handles the execution precisely and at scale. According to Oracle, this separation delivers an economic advantage: AI is deployed only where intelligence is truly needed.
The portfolio is growing rapidly. When Fusion Agentic Applications was introduced, there were 22 applications; now there are 75. Of these, 25 are new and built on Claw. They run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and use models from Gemini, OpenAI, and others. Support for other frontier models will follow.

People set the goals and parameters; the AI does the work.
Governance via an operating envelope
But how do you keep autonomous agents in check? Oracle uses an Enterprise Operating Envelope: an organization’s goals, procedures, policies, permissions, risk thresholds, and approval rules. An Outcome Trust Harness applies those parameters to identity, data, and actions for each run. Afterward, it generates an Outcome Receipt: an auditable report of authorizations, evidence, decisions, and executed transactions. Customers choose their own level of automation, ranging from rapid assistance to fully automated execution within delegated authority.
Oracle cites four examples. Ledger helps finance teams close the books by reconciling large volumes of journal entries and investigating discrepancies. Workforce Staffing creates staffing schedules based on skills, availability, and labor regulations, and continuously re-plans. Shipping Consolidation models alternatives to reduce shipping costs. And Account Territory Growth Plan compares scenarios for sales territories.
