SAP introduces ActiveAttention for transition to intelligent enterprise

SAP introduces SAP ActiveAttention, a portfolio of personalised and flexible support services. By doing so, the company wants to support organisations throughout their transition to the intelligent enterprise. The services are available for all of the company’s solutions that run in the cloud, on premise and in hybrid environments.

ActiveAttention supports SAP users with a range of engagement foundation services. This service helps customers to implement and run their software throughout the lifecycle of the solution. They have only one point of contact.

Silvio Bessa, senior vice president and head of the SAP MaxAttention Engagement Model, states that organizations need support that fits their specific situation to get the most out of their SAP environment. “SAP ActiveAttention has been developed on the basis of the feedback we receive from practice and our own analyses. It provides the flexibility, scalability and support that today’s intelligent enterprise requires.”

The service provides a Technical Quality Manager (TQM) who provides support services from SAP. The TQM guarantees continuity, but also gives advice on how to improve performance and participates in customer projects. TQM also facilitates reporting.

In addition, the service includes engagement planning and assurance to optimise projects. This provides analysis services and a roadmap service that focus on the specific customer and provide the insight needed to determine the next steps in a project.

Finally, the service includes Architecture Spotlight. This feature supports users in defining and optimizing their solutions and IT environment. The service indicates how users can possibly improve their architecture within their cloud, on premise or hybrid environments.
