Dynatrace recently announced that it has expanded its Software Intelligence Platform to include AI-powered observability into the infrastructure layer of Kubernetes Environments. They now include every container, node, pod, and cluster

The latest upgrade provides automated distributed tracing and deep-code level insights into applications and microservices that run in Kubernetes. Because of an accelerated digital transformation and the pressure to keep up, enterprises have increased their spending in cloud-native development, through container architecture and microservices.

More and more people are getting on the bandwagon

A recent Cloud Native Computing Foundation survey found that 84% of organizations are using containers in production. Of these, 78% use Kubernetes as their favourite container management option. Having complete observability into apps, microservices, and infrastructure is critical to ensure performance standards are kept high. The Kubernetes environments are well-distributed and complex.

By combining infrastructure, applications, and site reliability engineering teams, everyone will be able to use the same data, experience faster speeds, have the optimization of apps and infrastructure, resolution of issues, and accelerated digital transformations.

Now, enterprises can see everything instantly

The new release from Dynatrace will allow customers to instantly gain insight into the availability, resource utilization, and health of Kubernetes infrastructure. Kubernetes is dynamic, which is why Dynatrace keeps tweaking infrastructure components, interdependencies, and microservices between entities to come up with, and maintain accurate real-time mapping.

Dynatrace’s AI engine (Davis) uses the map to identify and prioritize anomalies automatically. In some instances, it can even do automated remediation.

With previous versions, there was a certain level of deep observability from Dynatrace for apps and microservices running in Kubernetes. Now, enterprises can build and deploy cloud-native apps and improve user experience with higher speeds and confidence.

The complete visibility into everything is what gives this AI-powered upgrade the edge.
