Google is expanding its ecosystem of partners for its Business Messaging service. New partners include Twilio, Genesys Telecommunications and Avaya.
Google Business Messages is an AI-based system that allows customers to chat directly with businesses found on Google Maps search or a company website.
Companies can deploy chatbots that produce human-like conversations. The bots can be connected to databases and thus provide local inventories and prices. If necessary, customers can automatically be redirected support staff. This speeds up customer interactions and helps customers find information.
Expanding the partner ecosystem
Business Messages is so popular that Google is expanding the service’s partner ecosystem. New partners announced include Twilio, Genesys Telecommunications and Avaya. These organizations will implement, develop and support the tool for their own customers.
More vertical markets
Google believes that, by expanding the partner ecosystem, Business Messages will grow in a larger range of business sectors. These include retail, finance, automotive and telecom.
