Odido will be the first Dutch telecom provider to offer Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile. This will allow business customers to call and have online meetings with a single number via the mobile network and Microsoft Teams.
According to Odido, the new solution, actually a combined platform, is optimized for hybrid working. By integrating Teams Phone Mobile with its mobile network, business end users can use a single business phone number to make mobile calls and use the various Teams functionalities for online meetings.
Functionality
In doing so, they switch seamlessly between various devices without logging into applications again. End users of the integrated service also have a single call history, can answer calls on any device and switch effortlessly to another device during a call.
For end users, reachability status is also synchronized between the Teams environment and Odido’s mobile network. As a result, business end users always have an overview of their business contact moments.
Better management capabilities
The integration between existing Teams environments and Odido’s mobile network is the only mobile integration supported by Microsoft 365. This makes external applications unnecessary for this, according to the telecom provider.
Furthermore, the centralized management of phone and Teams calls on one platform reduces administration costs because only one platform is needed. Also, Teams Phone Mobile meets the highest security standards, allowing businesses to rely on a secure communication environment.
Odido offers more business solutions for hybrid working. In addition to the now integrated Teams Phone Mobile solution, the telecom provider also offers Operator Connect for hybrid working.
