Google to present new Pixel 8 smartphones in early October

Google recently announced the unveiling date of the Pixel 8 series of high-end smartphones.

According to Google, the new Pixel 8 series of smartphones will see the light of day on October 5, 2023. This new line is the successor to the Pixel 7-series presented last October.

Two models

The Pixel 8 series is likely to consist of two models: a regular version and the Pixel 8 Pro. Recently, these series have already been accidentally posted on a website by the tech giant.

Many technical details of the smartphones are not yet known, but they would have advanced audio and camera features. Among other things, they are said to have the new “Audio Magic Eraser” functionality on board. This feature allows users to remove unwanted audio from video clips.

In addition, the three onboard cameras are said to have AI functionality and Google’s camera application interface has been revamped.

Other rumoured technical details include a Tensor G3 processor with 12GB of memory and at least 128GB of storage and a 6.7-inch display.
