Microsoft announced its latest Surface products: the Surface Book 3 and the Surface Go 2. The devices have more storage capacity than previous models.

According to Microsoft, the Surface Book 3 has 50 percent more performance than Surface Book 2, and the battery lasts 17.5 hours. The new laptop is Microsoft’s “most powerful laptop ever. The laptop has up to 32GB of RAM and the Surface Book 3 has ‘the fastest SSD Microsoft has ever deployed’. The laptop uses Intel’s tenth generation core processor and is available in 13-inch and 15-inch versions. The standard price of the Surface Book 3 is 1799 euros, and the laptop will be released on the 5th of June.

Surface Go 2

According to Microsoft, the new Surface tablet is up to 64 percent faster than the original Surface Go, and has a longer battery life than its predecessor. The Surface Go 2 is also slightly bigger than the original, featuring a 10.5-inch screen. The tablet is also equipped with more microphones and a 5 Megapixel camera that has been added to the front of the tablet. The tablet has a new application for the camera on the back, which makes it easier to scan documents. The standard price of the Surface Go 2 is 459 euros, and the product is available on the 12th of May.

New accessories for Surface products

In addition to Microsoft’s new laptops and tablets, the company also presented some other gadgets. Microsoft introduces the Surface Dock 2, a dock that is magnetically connected. The new Surface Dock has four USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, an Ethernet connection, a headphone jack and a Kensington lock slot. The Surface Dock 2 costs 230 euros and will be available on the 26th of May.

Microsoft will also release the USB-C Travel Hub. This is a USB-C hub with a network connection and the ability to connect multiple monitors. The Travel Hub costs 110 euro and will also be released on the 26th of May.
