LG has announced a computer monitor with an OLED panel at CES. The UltraFine OLED Pro 32EP950 has a 4k panel and is primarily intended for graphic designers.
The 31.5″ display has a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. According to LG, the monitor can display 99 percent of both DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB colour spaces and, thanks to OLED technology, has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The refresh rate is unknown.
In terms of connections, the display has two DisplayPort and one HDMI connection. There is also a USB-C port with which the monitor can serve as a dock for a laptop. The monitor can supply a connected laptop with 90 watts of power over the same cable as the signal from the screen and any peripherals. The peripherals can be connected to three USB-A ports.
Besides a video and a tweet about the UltraFine OLED Pro 32EP950, LG has not yet shared any information about the monitor. How much it will cost and when it will be available is therefore not yet known.
