IGEL has made its operating system for cloud-based work environments compatible with Nutanix Frame, a Desktop-as-a-Service solution by Nutanix.
IGEL OS is particularly suitable for PCs in cloud-based environments. Nutanix recently validated IGEL OS for usage with Nutanix Frame, its Desktop-as-a-Service solution.
Nutanix and IGEL carried out extensive compatibility tests and tweaks. Resultingly, IGEL OS was validated as ‘Nutanix Frame Ready’, and became a part of Nutanix’s Frame Ready ecosystem. Solutions within the ecosystem are extensively tested for compatibility with Nutanix Frame.
Nutanix Frame is a hybrid and multi-cloud Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solution that enables employees to access Windows apps and desktops on a device of choice.
Nutanix joins IGEL OS Ready
Nutanix, in turn, will become part of the IGEL OS Ready partner ecosystem. This program allows IGEL’s partners to test and approve their products’ compatibility with IGEL OS. The partnership also allows partnes to offer special applications to joint customers.
