Computest DevOps is merging with data and testing firm CloseSure. The merger creates a larger DevOps player in the Netherlands.

Computest DevOps is the DevOps division of Computest Group, a Dutch service provider. The merger of Computest DevOps and CloseSure should result in a broader service portfolio and higher-quality technical expertise. In addition, CloseSure’s five Dutch offices provide more national coverage for Computest’s DevOps services.

Favourable expectations

Both companies have high expectations. “With deep expertise in test automation and data engineering, CloseSure adds a lot of value and clout to our organization”, Computest DevOps CEO Hartger Ruijs said. “In addition, the experience they have with data projects allows us to develop new propositions.”

“The merger with Computest DevOps means that we can give a new impulse to our ambitions and growth”, added Hans Ruesink, Managing Director of CloseSure. “We have spoken with several parties, but Computest DevOps was clearly the most attractive.”

“We complement each other well in various content and business areas. There’s also a very good match in terms of culture and people orientation. This ensures a solid foundation.”

Computest DevOps grows

A total of 50 data engineers and 50 test specialists will transfer to the Computest DevOps team. CloseSure will continue to operate under its own name for the time being. Its offices remain active.

Computest DevOps has been gaining strength over the past year. In April, it acquired SYSQA, a specialist in the field of software testing and quality assurance.
