The acquisition of Eindhoven-based Kumina is intended to expand its expertise and international operations.
Managed service provider ACC ICT focuses on IT continuity and already has in-house knowledge about Kubernetes. With 40 employees, it supports companies through cloud solutions for software developers and online service providers. A strong focus on quality and technological innovation characterizes the companies that turn to ACC ICT.
Kumina can complement that. This party, after ACC ICT did so earlier, became the second Dutch IT service provider to obtain a Kubernetes Certified Service Provider certification from the CNCF. This certification is only granted to service providers with proven experience in helping companies with Kubernetes.
Combination
Kumina’s focus is on providing customized Kubernetes solutions to national and international companies. “We are thrilled to bring so much knowledge and expertise together. It is a very nice step to stay ahead and further increase our clout. With this acquisition we can serve our customers even better with advanced Kubernetes solutions and at the same time roll out our international ambitions,” said Managing Director Paul Bijleveld of ACC ICT.
The two companies have already completed several projects together recently. By combining the architects, technical knowledge, vision and focus on quality of ACC ICT and Kumina from now on, more high-quality Kubernetes solutions should emerge.
It is unknown how much ACC ICT is paying for Kumina.
