Aruba has expanded its Instant On network portfolio for smaller businesses with a new series of switches: the Aruba Instant On 1930 series. It also started working closely with VPN provider NordVPN.

The new series of switches in the wireless network specialists portfolio should enable smaller companies to roll out, manage and maintain high-speed networks. This will give this category of companies the same reliable, secure and cost-efficient network connectivity that large companies have, according to Aruba.

Technical Specifications

The new 1930 series switches include 8, 24 or 48 1G ports and high-speed 10Gbps connectivity. The ports are equipped with high-speed PoE+ to power IoT-devices in particular. The switches can also be managed in different settings to provide more flexibility for the deployment of the devices

The switches can also be managed through a cloud environment, a web browser or a mobile app. The switches also have a local web GUI. The Aruba Instant On 1930 switches can be directly integrated with existing Instant On indoor/outdoor access points.

Collaboration with NordVPN

In addition to the introduction of the new series of switches, Aruba also announced that it has partnered with VPN provider NordVPN to provide better remote access for employees of smaller organisations. Customers of the Aruba Instant On can now benefit directly from the VPN services of the VPN provider. As a result, without having the appropriate technical knowledge, they can immediately work securely remotely and gain access to important business information.
