Rockwell Automation and PTC are taking significant strides in a bid to serve the needs of the digital transformation market, which is growing very fast. The enhancements are geared towards modifying the FactoryTalk InnovationSuite, powered by PTC.
Launched in 2018, the FactoryTalk InnovationSuite, powered by PTC, has gained traction and witnessed fast customer adoption and achieving significant improvements in operations efficiency. It has also led to a reduction in unplanned downtime and an increase in quality.
OT/IT integration
These latest enhancements are aimed at improving the OT/IT integration to enable customers to contextualize operational data in real-time from sources like control platforms, plant floor devices, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).

With the innovation, they are now recognized as the leaders in modular and integrated capabilities that span analytics, augmented reality, MES, and industrial IoT. Through the automatic integration of contextualized data and underlying data models into Industrial IoT/Analytics platforms like PTC’s ThingWorx, companies can automate, accelerate, and simplify OT/IT convergence.
The integration capabilities reduce aggregation, data cleansing, and contextualization by up to 80%, thus accelerating digital transformation deployment. The approach maintains, propagates, and enriches OT data models into IT systems.
