Netgear and Holdan, a distributor for the broadcast and video market, will jointly market Network Device Interface (NDI) solutions. In doing so, they increase their focus on the AV-over-IP market segment.
Both parties see enormous potential in the fast-growing AV-over-IP market and have found that their product portfolios complement each other well. Netgear markets both proprietary solutions and those from other AV-over-IP suppliers, adopting third-party solutions it deems effective.
NDI solutions
The cooperation with distributor Holdan focuses specifically on providing NDI solutions. This involves combining the Network Device Interface (NDI) solutions of Netgear with the NDI cameras of brand Birddog. Holdan is Birddog’s distributor in Europe. Holdan will also become a general distributor of Netgear’s AV solutions.
The goal
The combined solutions should ultimately provide customers with efficient NDI systems. According to both parties, the cooperation leads to a better quality of this specific technology, lower latency and higher processing speeds.
