You’ll soon be able to integrate e-signatures into most apps

Adobe is bringing Acrobat Sign to Adobe Workfront Fusion and Adobe Commerce. The upcoming updates allows for legally binding signatures in a wide range of applications.

According to the APA, it takes 23 minutes to restart a task after an interruption. Adobe cites the research in its announcement of Acrobat Sign for Adobe Workfront Fusion and Adobe Commerce.

Soon, Adobe customers and end users won’t be required to switch applications to sign legally binding forms. Adobe reports that the updates are almost ready, but doesn’t specify a release date.

Adobe Workfront Fusion

Adobe Workfront Fusion is an integration platform for connecting web apps. The platform brings Adobe features to third-party apps — and vice versa. Acrobat Sign functions will soon be integrated. This allows for legally binding signatures in a wide range of apps.

Adobe Commerce

The update for Adobe Commerce works similarly. Acrobate Sign will soon be available for webshops in Adobe Commerce. The integration allows customers to place signatures during checkouts without leaving the website or app. The same goes for any other scenario where a legally binding signature comes in handy: think terms of service, payment agreements and warranties.
