The tech giant focuses on disinformation spread in the United States by foreign actors. Microsoft hopes to clarify how foreign actors combine disinformation with cyberattacks.

Integration into Microsoft

Following the acquisition, Miburo will be integrated into the tech giant’s Customer Security and Trust portfolio. The disinformation specialist will work closely with Microsoft’s Threat Intelligence Centre and Threat Context Analysis team.
