Tech giants IBM and AWS are expanding their existing cooperation. New IBM software solutions will be available on the AWS Marketplace.
The existing partnership brought 30 IBM software solutions to AWS. The newly announced partnership brings many more. Especially solutions that help companies develop and maintain applications.
IBM tools on AWS Marketplace
The new set of IBM solutions on the AWS Marketplace includes Db2. This is one of the most popular data management platforms that IBM currently offers. In addition, the IBM Observability tool becomes available, which allows developers to discover and solve technical problems in applications.
Another tool is the Maximo Application Suite for maintaining industrial equipment. Also, there’s Watson Orchestrate, a chatbot for automating tasks such as retrieving business information from applications, along with security tools such as Security ReaQta, Security Trusteer and Security Verify. Other tools are planned to be added over the course of this year.
Other joint initiatives
In addition to offering solutions on the AWS Marketplace, the tech giants will work closely together to support customers’ cloud projects. New initiatives mainly touch upon the areas of integrated sales and marketing. Also, IBM and AWS channel partners are going to offer various joint incentives and resources for developers.
