Deloitte and AWS will jointly develop cloud-based banking services. The partners want to help financial organizations introduce digital banking tools and modernize fintech solutions.

As part of the partnership, Deloitte is bringing its ConvergePROSPERITY BankingSuite platform to AWS’ public cloud. In turn, AWS contributes a range of fintech solutions, including contact center product Amazon Connect, customer interaction environment Amazon Pinpoint and security service Amazon Cognito.

Fintech experiences

The partners aim to provide financial service providers with better fintech experiences for replacing legacy fintech platforms and supporting customers. The collaboration should help financial service providers bring new innovative products and services to market.

ConvergePROSPERITY BankingSuite on AWS allows financial service providers to launch services faster. Banking services stand to benefit in particular. The solution provides a digital back office to keep track of all their customers in a single environment and deploy various ready-to-deploy banking services.

In addition, financial service providers can use the platform for a service that allows them to purchase cryptocurrencies. It also offers billing capabilities for SMEs. All of these services can be made available in mobile applications. The services should provide more customer interaction and satisfaction as a result.

The platform is available immediately and has been extensively tested by Western Union. Earlier this year, the financial giant used ConvergePROSPERITY BankingSuite on AWS to introduce a new digital banking platform in Germany, Poland and Romania.
