Microsoft has finally adapted Microsoft Teams for the Android Auto version used in cars. Users can soon participate in Teams meetings or make calls through this application while on the road.

Starting in February this year, Teams users can make meetings and calls through the Google Android Auto platform. Of course, this only applies if their cars are equipped with this mobile operating system version.

In terms of functionality, in addition to participating in meetings and calls, users can access calendars and make direct calls. All functionalities are designed for use with just a few touches on the infotainment screen or via voice commands. The latter is designed to promote hands-free driving.

Android Auto in more and more cars

This functionality will be available worldwide. According to Google, Android Auto is currently already integrated into more than 200 million cars worldwide. Moreover, car manufacturers are increasingly installing the Google Android Auto operating system for their infotainment systems rather than developing their own software.
