Logitech has unveiled new MX Products and Smart Actions in Logi Options+. The new products are aimed at advanced computer users in a hybrid work environment.

This week Logitech announced three new high end input devices. These are the MX Keys S Combo and MX Keys S keyboards, and the MX Anywhere 3S mouse. They’re the latest additions to the Swiss company’s premium Master Series designed for advanced users, such as software developers and creative professionals.

The devices all make use of Smart Actions, a new feature in Logi Options+. This feature, Logitech says, helps high end users to more easily achieve their “flow state”. With this, they refer to the period of time when individuals feel they’re at their most productive.

Reaching the “Flow State”

“MX Users aim to achieve a state of flow where they become fully immersed in their creative process, finding balance between the challenge of the task at hand and their individual skills”, said Anatoliy Polyanker, general manager of MX business at Logitech. “Our new Master Series products featuring Smart Actions in the Options + are designed for anyone seeking precision, speed and comfort to reach optimal performance and a feeling of enjoyment”.

Gurpreet Bhoot, Logitech’s Senior Comms Specialist, detailed the new offering in a blog post. “MX Keys S Combo is the first combo in our Master Series and features the new MX Keys S keyboard, fan-favorite MX Master 3S mouse and comfortable MX Palm Rest to master your flow”, she explained.

Next up is the MX Keys S. Bhoot says this new offering delivers a “superior low-profile typing experience”. In addition, it supposedly “enhances your workspace with Perfect Stroke typing in a comfortable design”.

Finally, Bhoot writes that the MX Anywhere 3S is Logitech’s “most advanced wireless compact mouse”. The device features Quiet Click technology and an 8,000 DPI optical sensor. This sensor tracks on virtually any surface, including glass, Logitech claims.

Increased productivity with Logi Options + app

Users can streamline their workflow with new Smart Actions in the Logi Options+ app, Bhoot explains. The new utility “gives users the power to skip repetitive actions by automating multiple tasks with a single keystroke”, she adds. In addition, predefined customizable Smart Actions are included to help automate common tasks “to get more done”.
