The new device, which can be used as a laptop or tablet, is described by Dell as the “world’s most collaborative commercial detachable.”

The Latitude 7350 Detachable will have an 8MP HDR RGB IR camera on the front. With HDR, image detail capture should be good even in challenging lighting conditions. Dell is adding additional features to the camera to enhance meetings, including autofocus, a background blur function and eye contact correction.

In addition, the Latitude 7350 Detachable features a collaboration touchpad. This gives users additional control options for meetings in Microsoft Teams and Zoom. The collaboration icons are visible only during Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls. However, a collaboration keyboard must be purchased separately to use this touchpad.

To make the 2-in-1 suitable for collaboration, Dell optimized the speakers on the front of the device.

AI PC

What stands out is that Dell equips the Latitude 7350 Detachable with an Intel Core Ultra processor. Customers can choose a device with an Intel Core Ultra U7-164U vPro or an Intel Core Ultra U5-134U vPro. These chips fall under Intel’s processor line, which is at the heart of the AI PC.

An AI PC contains hardware capable of running AI locally on the device. For this purpose, an Intel chip offers a Neural Processing Unit and a CPU and GPU, which can handle AI workloads with little power consumption. This makes AI calculations up to 2.5 times more efficient than before.

“Apps optimized for NPU run faster and smoother, delivering more battery life. For example, get 23 additional minutes of battery life when running a 3-hour call on Microsoft Teams while enjoying more immersive AI powered features such as auto-framing,” Dell explains.

The Latitude 7350 Detachable will be available in the second quarter of this year. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
