Philips unveiled the 34E1C5600HE, a 34-inch curved display. The company continues to grow its monitor lineup.

The Philips 34E1C5600HE sports a 34-inch panel, 3400×1400 native resolution, a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 1500R curvature. The model has a max brightness of 300 cd/m2, which means it cannot handle HDR media. Furthermore, the display offers a 3,000:1 natural contrast ratio, a 4 ms reaction time (GtG), and a 100Hz refresh rate.

Starting next month, customers in the UK and Europe will be able to purchase the model for £480 and €619 respectively. According to Philips, the display is made for various professionals, ranging from graphically intensive industries like CAD-CAM and photography to accounting and finance.

Philips added a USB Type-C connector to support DisplayPort and power supply. The display also features a single DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 port. 5W speakers and a 5MP Windows Hello camera benefit videoconferencing. Finally, four USB Type-A ports support a range of devices.
