CrowdStrike introduces Falcon Identity Threat Protection Complete. The managed security service protects organizations against attackers using stolen login credentials, also known as identity-based attacks.
Falcon Identity Threat Protection Complete is an extension of Falcon Identity Threat Protection (ITD). The latter has been available since 2020. ITD scans accounts in networks and cloud environments for vulnerable login credentials. In addition, ITD monitors domain controllers to find suspicious users.
Although ITD creates insight into vulnerabilities, it’s up to customers to prevent attacks. With the introduction of Falcon Identity Threat Protection Complete, CrowdStrike takes on both tasks.
Falcon Identity Threat Protection Complete
Falcon Identity Threat Protection Complete combines ITD and Falcon Complete, CrowdStrike’s managed security service. ITD works just like it always has: the system monitors the accounts and behaviour of users in an organization. The new service adds security experts from CrowdStrike: they help customers prevent attacks and respond to attacks.
The experts analyze a customer’s entire infrastructure, suggest defensive measures and support implementation. Should things go wrong, the experts aid in the defence and damage control of an attack.
Called Falcon Identity Threat Protection Complete is available starting today. CrowdStrike compensates for all damage resulting from intrusions into environments protected by the service.
