Microsoft has announced that they are increasing the availability of their Surface products in Europe. The products will become available in more Eastern European countries.

The Microsoft Surface products were only available in Western European countries, but now the company decided to expand the availability. All Surface products will become available in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Microsoft hopes to increase their footprint in Europe by expanding the availability. It also recently announced the new Surface Laptop Go. A laptop that should compete with Google Chromebooks. It’s a low priced laptop with minimal but decent specifications. Which could do well in the education industry. The laptops are also interesting for business users that work mostly in the cloud.

Microsoft Surace Laptop Go

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go is a 12.4-inch laptop with a 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor. It comes in three different versions, with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage capacity. The laptop has a battery capacity which lasts the full day and for authentication purposes, it uses Windows Hello (facial recognition) and a fingerprint reader in the stand-by button.

Pricing starts at 629 euros and ends at 999 euros.
