OpenAI recently launched the paid version of its now immensely popular AI tool ChatGPT; ChatGPT Plus. This paid version offers some additional features of the intelligent writing tool, such as faster responses, guaranteed access and priority access to new features.

OpenAI has faster than expected launched its paid version of ChatGPT, called ChatGPT Plus. This version offers users more features for a fee than the free version.

Benefits ChatGPT Plus

An important plus of the paid version is that the OpenAI guarantees that users will always have access to the tool. Even at peak times. Currently, many end users complain that access to the tool often leaves much to be desired. Often capacity is full, and users have to wait until capacity becomes available again. So with ChatGPT Plus, this is a thing of the past.

Another additional feature is that the paid version answers commands much faster than the current version. This allows users to complete these assignments faster.

Furthermore, ChatGPT Plus gives paying users priority access to new functionality. For example, they can now use features such as stopping the completion of an assignment in the middle of an answer, and viewing old “conversations” and limits on daily messages. Also, the AI model behind the tool is said to have been further improved.

Subscriptions and API

OpenAI says it will expand the functionality of the paid service in the near future, as well as set up a subscription structure. ChatGPT Plus now costs $20 a month, but there will also be cheaper subscriptions, business subscriptions and data packages for more availability. The paid service is currently only available in the US.

Furthermore, SD Times writes, OpenAI is also said to be currently working on an API for ChatGPT. This will make the AI tool available for many more applications and allow specific applications to be developed around it.
