SAP has announced GROW with SAP, an offering to help midsize companies adopt cloud ERP.

“SAP’s ERP offering has long enabled end-to-end transparency across the business for the world’s leading companies. With GROW with SAP, we’re taking this to the next level for midsize companies, with a tailored offering that helps them grow their business,” said Christian Klein, CEO and Member of the Executive Board of SAP SE. “GROW with SAP provides the agility and innovation midsize companies need not just today, but for their success in years to come.”

For the support, SAP first points to its decades of experience in different industries, which has enabled it to define industry-specific processes. GROW with SAP offers pre-configured best practices that midsize companies should be able to deploy immediately. This follows the fit-to-standard principle, using the best practices from the relevant industries for the processes and adopting a clean-core.

For this purpose, SAP is deploying the S/4HANA Cloud, public edition. This cloud ERP package should guarantee that companies can scale “to support even the most extensive product lines, complex service offerings, and ambitious sustainability goals.”

The GROW with SAP bundle also includes “accelerated adoption services, a global community of experts and free learning resources, helping customers go live in as little as four week.”

In addition, there is support of the SAP Business Technology Platform. This allows companies to define their own processes to extend the software. The ERP vendor cites SAP Build, the low-code platform announced late last year for this. It allows users to build apps, automate processes and design business sites.

Bundle alongside RISE with SAP

GROW with SAP is a new bundle that will exist alongside RISE with SAP. RISE with SAP launched early 2021 and has supported many large enterprise organization to date. GROW with SAP is positioning itself more as the bundle for midsize companies.
